Onboarding checklist

This checklist represents the required steps for integrating DashLink parcels, based on the official parcel guide.

Account readiness​

  • Developer account created
  • Parcel fulfillment method enabled
  • Facility IDs assigned
  • Business ID assigned
  • Label format chosen (PDF or ZPL)

Environment readiness​

  • Sandbox API credentials working
  • Webhook endpoint configured + reachable from internet
  • Event Log accessible
  • Delivery Simulator accessible

Address readiness​

  • Address validation logic implemented upstream
  • Handling of DashLink-corrected addresses in responses
  • ZIP coverage list implemented with update mechanism

Label readiness​

  • Shipper-generated barcodes meet DashLink requirements
  • DashLink-generated base64 decoding tested
  • Printer workflow validated (4×6, ZPL or PDF)

Tracking & webhooks readiness​

  • Webhook ingestion pipeline implemented
  • Redelivery and undeliverable reason codes mapped
  • Tracking page or customer notification tools updated
